This place was the bomb!!! The service was fantastic (Thank you Sarah), the beer was so cold and the food was perfect!! I'm sorry I waited 11 years to go back to a Longhorn Steakhouse. They sure are better than Outback!!

This is not a true steakhouse, this is a corporate attempt at a cheap steak. Too many deficiencies to relay- however the vodka was delicious.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner here about a week ago. It can be a little noisy but after all it is a family restaurant. However, it did not take away our enjoyment of the dinner or the restaurant. Our server was very helpful when asked about the menu choices. We started with the Grilled mushroom caps stuffed with cheddar and herbs. Served over a creamy blend of four melted cheeses. $7.99 (recommend!). My husband ordered Redrock Grilled Shrimp A dozen grilled shrimp glazed with our smoky tomato butter. Served over rice with garlic butter sauce for dipping. $16.99 (recommend!) and I had Steakhouse Burger* Add American, Swiss or cheddar at no charge. $10.79 ( recommend!) Both were served hot and delicious. The decision for dessert was very difficult as they offer many tempting selections. We decided on Ultimate Brownie Sundae A Ghirardelli® chocolate brownie served warm and topped with hot fudge and vanilla bean ice cream. $6.49 (decadent delight - for chocolate lovers). Highly recommend the LongHorn Steakhouse, 3700 Lake Emma Road, Lake Mary, FL 32746.

For a steakhouse you would expect a decent steak. I ordered the ribeye. It was fatty and bland. The juices were more like water. Maybe from being frozen? The service was average. Very disappointed. Will not eat at Longhorn again.

I have been back to LongHorn a couple of times since my last review, and I like it more than I did then. The food is good quality, especially for the price. Last time I was there, I had a half rack of baby back ribs, and they were fantastic. The service has also been much better recently, and our last server was both friendly and helpful.

Went here with my husband on black Friday. I got the lobster stuffed steak. It was a little under cooked but they gladly replaced my whole plate. The service was great & the GM was very attentive to us & the other customers. I had the black & blue margarita, it was delicious, you could tell it was made with fresh fruit and was not overly alcoholic. I would suggest to others to go here.

We're from Missouri and can't seem to find a good steak anywhere here in Florida. Problem solved! We just had one of the best steaks we've had in a very long time! Service was great. Even the manager stopped by to check on things. Highly recommend this one!

I haven't been here in a while , and decided to stop by for my bday. The steaks were delicious. I also had an appetizer that was tasty. The children's meal can come with a side of fruit. The kids loved it.

One word: great. The service was spectacular, even to someone on a lone trip. I had the sirloin with fries and mashed potatoes. Everything was fantastic. Some of the best mashed potatoes I've ever eaten. Expect a small wait if you're coming out during the dinner rush. The wait, however, is well worth it.

We went to Longhorn Steakhouse May 18. Got there just after 7pm. We met others there for dinner. First thing we all noticed was it was about 30 degrees in the place, this at 7pm. Second thing I noticed was the small amount of food you receive, for the price we were amazed! Got a burger which cost over ten dollars, ask for medium well, got rare, as a matter of fact everyone who ordered beef got rare. Fries were so salty didn't bother with them, burger was small compared to one I could have gotten at Wendy's which would have at least had less salt. I felt in the least the burger could have come with mayo, on it or something but no. WAY too many people hovered over the table, I would say one every three minutes? Odd because we were not the only people in the place, nor was it that huge of a party. Even the manager stopped by. None came by with extra bread, mayo, ect. After so many stop bys we all just wanted to leave. Very put off. Had I just gone with my family, I would not only have complained about the cold, but the food, also all the attention for really no reason, don't know how many times we were asked in a ten minute period how is everyone. Not really caring that we had been asked every time we tried to eat. I might have felt different if they weren't all so annoying! Although I do like ONE attentive waitress we were all put off by the constant stops, by what we all felt was every staff member, as if they had nothing to do but constantly stand there bothering us while we tried to eat shivering. Don't like hovering, or them coming every two minutes, it was annoying. For the price it is not worth it, one waitress is fine please. Bring a sweater. I did not find any of the staff not professional just always there, every other minute which please space, and if you are going to charge so much for a meal at least give a decent portion, the plates are HUGE the prices are HUGE, the food lack luster, and very small portions... My suggestion, if are going to give such small portions, perhaps you should have smaller plates? They really looked empty. Also maybe don't hover so much. I find it very rude to come over and ask questions when people are trying to eat before the frostbite sets in. We won't be going back.

Great wine & steak.... Service was a little off as they were more concerned with cutting labor. Too many guest for one server in an area.

I travel for work a lot so I am in restaurants alone a lot. This is one of the nicest restaurants and has the friendliest staff ever. They do not make you feel bad for being alone like some do. Food is excellent and service is great.

This is a MIS-post. I meant to review the restaurant in Sanford by the Town Center Mall. You redeemed yourself. Joined you last night with 9 others to celebrate Mom's birthday. Everything was perfect. Thank you.

I love the food at longhorn, but the staff there can be a little racist at times. Get more diversity in your staff please, it's 2015... Segregation is a thing of the past.

My family and I used to come by here maybe once/month several years ago, though we don't really stop by anymore. It probably has been at least a year since my last visit here. Everyone seemed to really enjoy it during previous visits, though. Since I am not a steak eater (I can't even remember the last time I had one anywhere ... probably at least several years ago), I always have had to try something a little different here. I'm pretty sure that, during my previous visits, I've had such items as the Sierra Chicken and the Parmesan-Crusted Chicken. They've always been good. I may even have had the Redrock Grilled Shrimp, too. The biggest draw for me here always has been the appetizers and sides. Never had a visit here without ordering the Texas Tonion. The Western Cheese Fries also are tasty. My last visit here almost certainly was before I began using Yelp, so I don't have any recent memories or insight as to the restaurant's service/cleanliness/etc. I do remember that everything was very presentable and that the bar made some good drinks, though. Might have to go back here sometime soon to see what the latest is. This isn't my absolute favorite place, by any means, but I never complained about going and the restaurant never made a bad impression. I don't think I'd ever give this a 5-star review (the more attentive Yelpers have given it 2- and 3-star reviews ... perhaps this really is more of a high 3 and not a 4 ...), but it's always been fun to go to and everyone I've been with here has enjoyed it.

It's a co-worker's birthday today. To help her celebrate, I offered to take her to lunch, and let her pick the place. She said "LongHorn". Not wanting to spoil her festive mood, I didn't have the heart to tell her that, as close as this place is to work, I've eaten here a grand total of 3 times my 7 years on the Lake Mary scene. The major reason? A nasty case of food poisoning I got from a not-so-fresh salad at this very location. I even remember the table. So "mum"s the word. Plus, I figure that if it stayed in business this long, the attrition rate of customers from food poisoning couldn't have been all that high. The dearth of cars in the parking lot just after high noon was almost enough to make me reconsider, but really, we were past the point of no return. We were seated promptly and greeted by a friendly and just ever-so-slightly-smarmy Glenn G. who was testing the market for appetizers for these 2 customers (just like he was trained) - seeing none, he let us look over the menu as requested. There really isn't much on the lunch menu that's less than $8.49, and many are low to mid-teens, with steaks testing the $30 barrier. My friend decided to go with onion soup and salad. Me? I broke my "ABB" rule, going with something called "Black and Bleu" burger, the first time I'm tasting beef in that form for over a year. Even though the bowl is on the small side of a $4.99 item, the onion soup came out looking like a star, and, I'm told, tasting good. Her garden salad looked fresh and disease-free. My burger must be 7-8 oz. uncooked. Well done, it still looked substantial. On the plus side, the trimming with the blue cheese dressing, was tasty if a little messy. Trimmings were good, but the coleslaw did not come with the "kick" that Glenn promised. My usual peeve: unseasoned meat; a little more galling than usual given the "7-peppered SEASONED" expectation set by the advertising. There was no salt, no pepper, which means nothing to mask that "hamburger" smell. That' smell might be OK, even great, from a distance, but slightly gross when you hold it up to your nose. The burger also had a slightly crumbly characteristic not entirely attributable to having the tar cooked out of it. Service was attentive without being intrusive, which to be honest, took this review up one star. Good job, Glenn. Even before the tip, the tab was well over $21, not what you might call "value" ($2.29 for an ice tea doesn't help). But I AM thankful that, some 10 hours later, my health appears intact. Doesn't mean I'll come bouncing back tomorrow night for a big steak, but for now, I've not written LongHorn off. But MAN, they need to spend some advertising dollars to drum up some business, don't they. Only 1 previous review here in Yelp. How many people even remember "Flo"? Even though Flo's not gone (a steak or two named after her still), someone else has joined her - "Slo".

The food isn't bad, but I can get better steaks for the same price. My says it feels creepy inside. It is nearby so maybe I will try lunch some time.

I have been to many LongHorn Steakhouses so I know what to typically expect. Unfortunetly, this one did not meet the normal expectations. The appetizers were good as were the salads but our group of 7 had some issues with the entrees. One of the prime ribs were chewy and tough while a filet came out as a sirloin instead and when he complained, all they did was adjust the price. It took a lot more complaining until they finally removed it from the bill. The only reason they did not get a 1 star is because the appetizers and salads were good.
